Richardson AnimaLuv provides an avenue for individuals and corporations to make donations and volunteer efforts benefiting the City of Richardson Animal Shelter.
The organization was founded in 2004 by people wanting to donate time or funds to the Richardson Animal Shelter to cover special projects and items not budgeted for the animal shelter by the City of Richardson. These projects include medical expense assistance, adoption promotion, low cost microchipping, spaying, and vaccinations, foster assistance, and petting zoo assistance.
In conjunction with our youth group "Partners of AnimaLuv", AnimaLuv has supported the City of Richardson's vaccination clinic, and has sponsored adopt-athons, dog washes, spay days, and the City Wide Pet Day.
Richardson AnimaLuv sees its volunteers as one of its most valuable assets. As a volunteer, you can get involved in fundraising, educational events, volunteer recruiting, fostering, or any other number of projects.
As previously stated, we also have a youth group called “Partners of AnimaLuv. This is for children 6 and over who want to help with our volunteer projects. They especially enjoy helping out with our annual dog wash, and assisting with foster care.
