What’s Going On In June and July:
We had a great time at our Paint-A-Pet T-shirt Event which was held on Saturday, June 13, 2009. We'd like to thank all our sponsors, our volunteers, and , of course, all our particiapants for making the event so successful. We will be changing the photos weekly, until our next event, so watch for yourself.
JULY:
Sunday, July 12, 2009: A 2-4-1 Event - Our Annual Soap & Suds Dog Wash with Chip a Cat - Get It Back
For $10 your dog can get a bath and a nail trim. If you only want your dog to one of these, it will be $6. If you have a cat, come get it chipped for $15. Chipping covers city registration.
Richardson AnimaLuv uses all proceeds to support the care of the dogs and cats at the Richardson Animal Shelter.
Both events will be held at the Richardson Animal Shelter at 1330 Columbia Drive, Richardson, TX 75081 1-4 p.m.

This year, The BoDee Girl, one of the leading canine fantasy stars living in the Dallas area, has  graciously consented to be the canine spokes person for Richardson AnimaLuv. BoDee has even agreed to let us download a FREE copy of her new book, Homeless and Hungry, to anyone who wishes a copy. The book has 12 large photos of BoDee as Little Missy. Click here to download.
Adoptees Of The Week: Brothers, Gabriel and Obediah. We are desperate to place these cats! Their days are numbered, since they are so old and need to be adopted together.
Gabriel is a white Persian cat that is 10 years old. His brother Obediah is a black and white Tuxedo Persian. Gabriel's funky haircut was the solution to his hair being severely matted. Both cats are wonderful, laid back companions. They are both neutered males, and are litter trained. They are definitely inside cats. Both cats have been together since birth, and love each other very much. If you, or anyone you know, wishes to adopt these cats please call 972-235-7968 or email richardsonanimaluv.org.
